Clickmark is a digital marketing company headquartered in Kobe Japan. We proudly produce best in class digital marketing solutions to help our clients reach their customers around the globe.
We are looking for someone to join our studio production offices, working alongside our technical marketing team to assist with the planning, production, and management of modern websites, built around a marketing strategy.
As we operate in an English speaking environment, we would expect that you would have the ability to communicate in English, while Japanese language experience would be beneficial.
We are currently looking for technical creatives for a front-end development and design position to work alongside our web developers to achieve results. The ideal candidate would not need to specialise in the server management, dynamic development languages, database, CMS side of things, but experience and an understanding of that side of things would certainly be beneficial.

Position requirements
When starting a project for a client, we first create a mock-up of the website as a wireframe which we will show to the client to visualise the layout and operations of the website before moving onto design. You will be expected to listen to the project specification and create wireframes breaking down the pages and content of the website.
After getting sign off on the wireframes, this is where your creative skills would be challenged. You would be expected to make full designed pages based on the specification and layouts of your wireframes, while taking into consideration the clients web design taste. You would be working with software including Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop to achieve these results.
You would be expected to take a fully designed website produced in Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop and export optimised assets to use when producing the front-end, responsive HTML, CSS, and any interactive JavaScript elements needed to bring the website to life. You would be expected to use up to date standards for browser and accessibility compliance as well as leverage frameworks such as Bootstrap to achieve quality results for projects which need fast turn arounds.
There will also be times where you will be expected to work with designs provided to you by our other designers and working with code that will have been written by our other team members.
Alongside web related tasks, you will be expected to be able to design for other types of media including flyer and brochure design and logo design when needed.
Writing of new content to be added to our websites blogs and articles sections would be something expected of the ideal candidate. An interest in all thing's web, design, or marketing would be beneficial.
