Introducing the EC Site for Kobe’s Long-Standing Gelato Brand “Glass Claret”
Glass Claret offers “a little moment of indulgence” through its carefully crafted gelato. In this build, we consciously reflected the brand’s sense of happiness and luxury throughout the design— from color palette and typography to photography choices. On the homepage, we prominently feature the catchphrase “Gelato for Happy Moments”, so that visitors instantly grasp the heart of the brand.
We’ve placed a clear pathway on the homepage that guides customers straight to our most popular set menus. Adding a message like “Why not treat someone special?” also helps drive gift purchases. Seasonal campaign banners (e.g., Valentine’s Day, Christmas, Black Friday) are organized for easy visibility, supporting timely promotions.
With a mobile-first mindset, we ensured that product photography displays beautifully on smartphones and that every step to purchase feels seamless. Thanks to responsive design, the site delivers a smooth experience on PCs, tablets, and phones alike.
To make first-time shoppers feel secure, we enriched the site with clear “Legal Notice” pages (per the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions) and a comprehensive Shopping Guide. We also highlight our free-shipping threshold (¥6,500 and up) to encourage orders.
In the footer, we link directly to Glass Claret’s official Instagram to help expand brand awareness beyond the EC site. We’ve also included detailed information about their physical store in Kobe, creating multiple touchpoints for customers both online and in person.
